2. OBJECTIVE AND SUMMARY
Brief Description:
The Foreman for Milk Production is responsible for planning and managing the milk production process. This role requires a strategic approach to achieve production goals and maintain a high standard of quality.
Objective:
To ensure an effective milk production operation that meets budgetary goals and production forecasts. The foreman will also maintain health and safety standards and promote a positive work environment.
3. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs) AND TARGETS
| Sales and Revenue | Budgeted milk production goals must be achieved each month. |
| Order Fulfilment | 100% of production orders must be fulfilled on time. |
| Safety | All health and safety procedures must be adhered to. |
| Product Quality | Production quality must meet industry standards. |
| Staff Performance | Team members' performance must be regularly evaluated. |
4. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and Strategy
- Develop and implement production strategies.
- Monitor milk production and quality.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Operational Coordination
- Plan and coordinate daily production activities.
- Provide guidance to production staff.
- Address production issues promptly.
Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety training.
- Monitor workplace safety.
Quality Control
- Conduct quality testing of milk.
- Determine and implement quality standards.
- Resolve quality-related issues.
Staff Management
- Manage and motivate staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations.
- Provide training and development.
